At its session dated 05/10/2022, numbered 49, the University Administrative Board adopted the following principles under the Implementation Principles of Provisional Article 83, which was added to Law No. 2547 on Higher Education by Law No. 7417:
-Students who were dismissed from higher education institutions before 05/07/2022 may apply to the institution they were dismissed from within four months (by 07/11/2022) from the effective date of this article, and if deemed eligible under the provisions of Article 44 of this Law, they may resume their studies in the 2022-2023 academic year.
-Those unable to apply within the application period specified in Provisional Article 83 of Law No. 2547 due to force majeure may benefit from this law if they apply within one month after the cessation of the force majeure. Those unable to apply due to health reasons must submit a relevant medical board report by the end of the working hours on 05/12/2022.
- Those who applied by 10/10/2022 to benefit from this law will have their registrations completed and commence their studies in the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.
- Those who applied between 11/10/2022 and 07/11/2022 to benefit from this law will have their registrations completed and commence their studies in the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.
- For students who registered at other universities under this law and subsequently request a transfer to our University, the transfer dates specified in the academic calendar will be applied, and a quota of five (5) transfer slots will be allocated for each department.
- The number of advisees assigned to faculty members may be increased by up to 50% of the numbers specified in Article 35/3 of the Graduate Education and Training Regulation, taking into account students returning under this amnesty.
