THESIS SUBMISSION AND GRADUATION CONTROL DOCUMENTS
For thesis studies requiring ethical committee approval, the following procedures should be completed approximately two months before beginning research:
Students who have selected an advisor and thesis topic should complete and sign the Ethical Committee Application Form together with their advisor. After signing, they must email a scanned PDF copy to etik@agu.edu.tr and deliver the original signed copy to the Ethics Committee Secretariat (Research Assistant İbrahim Alsancak - Office B225).

With this form the student states that he/she has completed the thesis and requests to take the defense exam. The first part of the form (Part I) will be filled and signed by the student. The form is submitted to the thesis advisor and signed by the thesis advisor together with the documents showing that the relevant criteria have been fulfilled or will be fulfilled. The thesis originality statement on the second page of this form is signed by both the student and the advisor. After the approval of the thesis advisor (Part II), the form is submitted to the Thesis Review Committee. If the Thesis Review Committee requests rectification, the student submits the thesis to the commission again after making the necessary corrections. Theses, which are approved by the Committee, are forwarded to the Head of the Department together with these forms. |

Jury and Exam Date Suggestion Form |

This form is for the thesis advisor to suggest members of the thesis defense jury and the date of the thesis defense. After the suggestion of the advisor, the form is reviewed and signed by the Head of the Department and sent to the Institute latest by the date announced on the institute website. |

The student sends this form to thesis defense jury members along with the thesis and declares that he/she has sent his/her thesis to the members of the jury via e-mail. |

Note: The forms required for "Thesis Submission" must be submitted to the Institute with the approval of the advisor before the deadline.
The deadlines for the Fall and Spring semesters can be found on the Institute website.
Incomplete forms and forms that are missing signatures will not be processed.
